Three Years Running! Timbers Voted Best Senior Living Community

The Timbers of Shorewood is celebrating a remarkable three-peat. For the third consecutive year, the community has been voted "Best Senior Care Community in Will County" by readers of the Herald-News in their 2024 Readers' Choice Awards.

The Timbers staff was honored at the winners’ celebration of the Best of Will County Readers’ Choice Awards on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate, 20 S Eastern Ave., Joliet.

"This award is a testament to the dedication of our entire team who go above and beyond to create a vibrant and supportive community for our residents."

The Readers' Choice Awards highlights the most beloved businesses in Will County across various categories. This year, voters placed The Timbers at the top of the "Best Senior Care Community" list.

Founded in 2002, The Timbers of Shorewood has become a cornerstone of the greater Will County area. Located at 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood, the senior living community offers a blend of independent and assisted living options with 186 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
