Trinity Christian School Math Team Wins Area Competition
Trinity Christian Students Take 1st Place Overall at the Joliet West High School Mid High Math Competition.
Congratulations to the junior high math team from Trinity Christian School in Shorewood, Il who won first place overall at the math competition hosted by Joliet West High School.
Seven area junior high schools competed in a variety of Algebra and Geometry content categories.

Alex Bounds, Makayla Baier, Alexia Dolezal, Calleigh Kubinski, Maddie McBride, Leah Stonitsch, Kendall Thomas, Austin Vugteveen, Dayton Boutte, Haley Grant, Tyler Jolly, Logan Mackin, Ethan Mirabile, Samantha Norville, Augustus Payton, and Emily Vertin.
In addition to placing first overall, the Trinity students placed first in the category of 8th grade group, earning a perfect score.

The team also received awards in the following categories: 8th Grade Slope - 1st Place, 8th Grade Systems of Equations - 2nd Place, 8th Grade Segments - 1st Place, 7th Grade Formulas - 1st Place, 7th Grade Group - 3rd Place
The team is coached by Trinity staff members Kayla Bekermeier and Lori Balek, and assisted by Kristi Lewis.
