Troy School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Troy is August 21. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Troy CCSD has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

September

• 9/4: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/13: Half Day (SIP Day)

October

• 10/6: No School for Students (Institute Day)
• 10/9: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/2: Half Day (SIP Day)
• 11/10: End of Grading Period
• 11/20 - 11/21: No School for Students (Parent-Teacher Conference)
• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/5: Half Day (SIP Day)
• 12/21 - 1/3: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/3: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/10: Half Day (SIP Day)
• 1/15: No School (M.L. King Birthday)

February

• 2/12: Half Day (SIP Day)
• 2/19: No School (President's Day)
• 2/23: End of Grading Period

March

• 3/2: No School for Students (Institute Day)
• 3/5: No School (Casimir Pulaski Day)
• 3/26 - 3/30: No School (Spring Break)

April
