Wilmington Man Gunned Down His Caged Dog After it Bit His Finger: Cops
The man had been drinking, police said.

A Wilmington man shot his caged dog in the head three times with a shotgun after the animal bit his finger, police said.
When officers arrived at the McIntyre Street home of 38-year-old Richard Slayton late Sunday night, he told them, “I’m not gettin’ bit in my own house again,” police said.
Slayton reportedly went on to explain to the cops how he shot his 2-year-old mixed breed dog, Rocky, after it bit his finger.
