Two 17 Year Olds Shot in Skokie, One Fatally
The other victim, a teenage girl, is in critical condition after the Sunday night shooting on Kedvale.

The following is from the Skokie Police Department:
On Sunday, September 28, 2014, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Skokie Police officers responded to a 9-1-1 call of shots fired in the 9200 block of Kedvale Avenue, Skokie, Illinois.
Upon arrival at the scene, Skokie Police officers located two shooting victims in a vehicle, the first being a 17 year-old male and the second a 17 year-old female. The victims were transported to a local hospital where the male victim was pronounced dead and the female victim was in critical condition. This is an ongoing investigation and the Skokie Police Department is pursuing all investigative leads. The Skokie Police Department assures the community that the shooting was not a random act and that there is no risk to the general public.
