16-Year-Old Girl Shot In The Head At South Side Gas Station: CPD
The girl remains in critical condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital after police said she was shot while sitting in a vehicle in Little Village.

CHICAGO — A 16-year-old girl remains in critical condition in a Chicago hospital after police said she was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle at a South Side gas station early Tuesday morning.
The girl was in the passenger seat of a vehicle in the 4200 block of West 26th Street in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood at 1:55 a.m. when police said people from an SUV began firing shots at the vehicle. The girl was struck in the head, police said.
The girl was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital and is in critical condition, police said.

Police did not say what led to the shooting and said on Tuesday that no suspects are in custody in connection with the shooting.
