Another Expressway Shooting on I-55 Saturday
Shots were fired at an SUV around 1:40 a.m.
State Police shut down I-55 near Damen for a short time early Saturday to investigate another expressway shooting. This time, an SUV took fire at about 1:40 a.m. The SUV was shot in the passenger-side door. No one was hurt, according to police, and the shooter has not been found. The expressway was re-opened after about 15 minutes.
Last Saturday, an expressway shooting that injured a man shut down I-55 for several hours.
