Freight Train Derails On Chicago's South Side: Reports
At least six tanker cars fell off the tracks, according to news reports.
CHICAGO — A freight train derailed Friday afternoon in Chicago’s South Deering neighborhood. Footage of the scene captured by ABC 7 Chicago news showed at least six tanker cars off the tracks.
The train fell off the tracks near 99th Street and Marquette. The tanker cars were reportedly carrying asphalt, according to CBS 2
It is not known if anyone was injured.
