Archer Avenue Goes Green Saturday For Beloved St. Patrick's Day Parade
Archer Avenue St. Patrick's Parade steps off Saturday, March 16, through Garfield Ridge on Chicago's South Side.

CHICAGO — The 2024 edition of the Archer Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Parade, presented by Chicago's Working Families steps off at noon Saturday, March 16.
This is Chicago’s longest running community St. Patrick’s Day Parade and a beloved tradition on the South Side. The parade route runs down Archer Avenue east from Oak Park Avenue to Narragansett Avenue.
The 2024 Honorary Grand Marshal will be fallen Chicago Police Officer Andres Vasquez Lasso. The police officer was killed in the line of duty March 1, 2023 responding to a domestic call in Gage Park.
