Crash Blocks Inbound Dan Ryan Past 83rd Street: State Police
Police and firefighters are on the scene attempting to clean up the crash. Officials did not have an estimate as to when the road would open
CHICAGO — A crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway near 83rd Street has prompted road closures while police and firefighters work to clean up the scene, Illinois State Police said Monday.
At around 3 p.m. Monday, inbound lanes on the Dan Ryan were blocked from 83rd Street on. Traffic officials recommend traveling north on State Street and getting back on the expressway at 79th Street, where traffic is not blocked.
