Pumpkin Jamboree Parade Steps Off On Archer Avenue This Saturday
Midway Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Archer Avenue Halloween parade, craft fair, costume contest and treats Saturday, Oct. 29.

CHICAGO — Thousands of families will line Archer Avenue this Saturday, Oct. 29, for the Pumpkin Jamboree Parade through Garfield Ridge. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. at Archer and Nordica.
Presented by the Midway Chamber of Commerce, the parade will feature high school bands, floats, civic groups, scout troops and neighborhood business. The most fun is seeing all the kids sitting curbside in their Halloween costumes.
The parade route starts at Archer and Nordica, heading east to Merrimac and south to Kennedy High School, 6325 W. 56th St.

The Halloween fun continues in Kennedy’s parking lot, where there will be a costume contest, a fall craft fair and complimentary snacks while supplies last.
Then stop by Wentworth Park, 5625 S. Mobile Ave., for Trunk or Treat, from 1 to 2 p.m.
