'Share The Love Englewood WinterFest' Kicks Off At Peace Campus
The winter fest features FREE winter gear, toy and fresh food giveaways, utility assistance, wellness classes and much more Saturday, Dec. 9
CHICAGO — The “Share the Love Englewood WinterFest” kicks off Saturday, Dec. 9. The We Grow Chicago coalition, led by Imagine Englewood if is hosting the winter fest from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Peace Campus, 6402 S. Honore St., Chicago.
The annual winter fest is more than a giveaway event, but a reminder to the community that WGC and the Peace Campus is a resource haven that aims to alleviate some of the pressures the holiday brings by providing free resources to help fill gaps.
The event will feature FREE winter gear, toy and fresh food giveaways (until supplies are exhausted), family portraits, lights/gas bill assistance, fresh produce, warm meals, community resource booths, crafts and activities for kids, live music, wellness workshops and more.

The event is for the Englewood community but community members from throughout the city are invited to come. IEi is still accepting volunteers for Saturday's event and those interested are encouraged to sign up here. For those unable to attend and interested in donating, IEi is also accepting donations.
