40-Year-Old Man Fatally Gunned Down During Argument In South Shore

CHICAGO — A 40-year-old man was cut down by gunfire early Wednesday morning in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, police said.

The shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. at a South Shore gas station. Police said the unidentified man was arguing with someone when he was shot several times in the 7400 block of South Stony Island.

The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. No one is in custody.
