CHICAGO -- Police say a man suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his leg early Wednesday morning in the city's far South Side Hegewisch neighborhood.
The 27-year-old was hospitalized around 4 a.m., according to a Sun-Times Media report.
Additional details about the circumstances leading up to the incident were not yet available Wednesday afternoon.
