CHICAGO — Every January, St. Symphorosa School hosts an annual open house in honor of Catholic Schools Week. Current and prospective families have always found this a valuable experience, as they have the opportunity to meet with teachers, the school principal, tour the school, and register for the next school year.

This year, St. Symphorosa is upping its game – literally! The 2023 Catholic Schools Week Open House will include a special appearance by Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery, as well as Chicago White Sox famed mascot, Southpaw.

“This year our theme is ‘Get in the Game’ at St. Syms,” says Principal Dr. Kathy Berry. “We are blessed to have the opportunity to welcome these two amazing guests that perfectly fit our theme.”

“We hope people from all across the community come out to our open house later this month,” said Dr. Berry. “We want to show everyone our amazing school and encourage them to join our TEAM!”
