Video Shows Masked Man Entering Stores, Pulling Out Guns, Robbing Cash Registers
Chicago 22nd District Police are alerting businesses of a string of recent armed robberies in Washington Heights.

CHICAGO — Chicago 22nd District Police have released surveillance video of a string of recent armed robberies at several Washington Heights businesses.
Surveillance video showed a man entering the retail businesses on foot. The man pulled out a handgun or rifle and demanded money from the cash registers.
Robberies were reported this month at the following locations:

- 9300 block of S Ashland on May 09, at 7:52 PM
- 1700 block of W 87th St on May 15, at 5:02 PM
- 1700 block of W 87th St on May 21, at 11:47 PM
Police say the man was wearing a mask and a light colored hooded sweatshirt or dark jacket, and appears on video carrying a book bag.
