3 Men, Teen Charged In New Year's Day Liquor Theft
The incident happened Monday at the Tinley Corner Store, according to police.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Three men and a teenager are accused of stealing liquor from a Tinley Park convenience store New Year's Day, according to police. Romeo K. Baine, 23, of Park Forest; Armani Williams, 18, of Chicago Heights; and Cortez Blevins, also 18 and from Chicago Heights, were charged with retail theft, Tinley Park police said in a statement Friday. The teen, whose exact age was not given, also was charged.
According to police, the men and teen entered Tinley Corner Store, 9410 W. 179th St., on Monday, Jan. 1, allegedly stealing bottles of liquor before fleeing the scene. Police arrested the men days later, the department said.
Along with the charge conntected with Monday's incident, Blevins also faces another count of retail theft in the village, police said. That charge stems from a Nov. 21 incident at George's Liquor, 7032 W. 183rd St.
