Bank Robbed In Tinley Park: Tinley Park PD

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery Friday evening, police said.

The robbery took place around 5 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank at 16700 S. Harlem Ave., police said. A male offender displayed a gun during the incident, police said.

The suspect fled in a vehicle. A victim was not able to provide a description of that vehicle, police said.

Police said no one was injured and there is no threat to the community.
