Barbara Ann Franks passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the age of 68 years. Barbara was the loving daughter of Robert and Faith, big sister to Susie, mom to Samantha (Kevin) and most importantly grandma to Matt and Alex and her granddogs- Ruby, Loki and Zoey. She was one of the kindest people you would ever meet and would have given anything to help those around her, especially her family. She loved to travel, especially to Disney and Wisconsin. She loved a weekend visit to the casino, followed by a cup of McDonald’s coffee. She loved shopping and a good Hallmark movie, but her favorite hobby of all time was spoiling her grandkids. While she will be missed by so many, her love and kindness will live on in all that knew her.
Visitation will be held on the morning of Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 8:00 A.M. until time of prayers at 10 A.M. at the BECVAR & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, to St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church, 17500 84th Avenue, Tinley Park, for an 11:00 A.M. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
