Bicyclist Stuck And Killed By Car In Tinley Park
A Palos Heights man was hit by a car and killed as he rode his bike on Harlem Avenue near 185th Street.
TINLEY PARK, IL — A 52-year-old Palos Heights man was struck by a car and killed as he rode his bicycle along Harlem Avenue Thursday.
Douglas M. Demott was riding his bike shortly before 6 p.m. near 185th Street when his bike was hit by the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed and cooperated with police, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
