Forest Preserve Brush Fire Battled By Tinley Crews: Official

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley firefighters are at the scene of an accidental brush fire at a Cook County Forest Preserve Monday afternoon, Village Manager Pat Carr said.

The fire is at Bartel Grassland and Water Reserve, Central Avenue and Flossmoor Road, Carr said.

The call came in at 2:10 p.m. Some acreage has burned, but the fire was under control as of 3:30 p.m., Carr said.

No injuries have been reported.
