Burglar Strikes Garage Of Tinley Home, Police Search For Suspect: PD

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police Friday night are investigating a burglary to the garage of a home near the downtown area.

The burglary took place in the 17900 block of Oak Park Avenue just before 7:30 p.m., police said. The residents were not home at the time of the incident; surveillance footage captured the burglary. The suspect did not appear to have a weapon. Police are looking for a male of slim build in a dark gray jacket and black pants, who fled on foot.

No one was injured in the incident. It's unclear what was taken from inside the garage.
