Crash On LaGrange Confirmed By Tinley Police, No Details Released

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park Police Department confirmed Monday a vehicle crash on LaGrange Road, but declined to provide any additional information at this time.

The crash happened Sunday, according to a Tinley official. The exact location, time, cause, number of vehicles involved and possible injuries were not disclosed by the official.

Patch was made aware of the crash via a post by one of its readers on Frankfort Patch. A motorist who said she witnessed the aftermath of the crash told Patch that she was driving on LaGrange at approximately between noon and 1 p.m. Sunday and saw what looked like two vehicles involved in the crash. One vehicle was facing north in the far right lane on LaGrange, and the other was in the lawn facing south, according to the motorist's report. She told Patch that fire trucks and ambulances were already on scene. She also reported seeing someone at the scene placed on a stretcher. Police would not confirm her account.
