The American rock band founded in 1994 will play the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater on Aug. 16 as part of its first tour in 12 years.
TINLEY PARK, IL – Summer may seem to be too far off to begin thinking about after the region saw its first snow on Tuesday, but the American rock band Creed recently announced its first tour in 12 years that will include a stop in Tinley Park next summer.
Tickets for Creed’s Summer of ’99 North American tour will go on sale on Friday, including an Aug. 16 stop at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater. The band announced this week that 3 Doors Down will provide support on many of the tour’s shows and that Finger Eleven will be the opener for each of the tour dates.
Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, or Big Wreck will appear in place of 3 Doors Down on select tour dates. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday.

The tour kicks off on July 17th in Green Bay and runs through a September 28th show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the band announced. An August 31st stop in San Bernardino, California, is called the “Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival,” including 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, and The Verve Pipe.
Creed previously announced their reunion with a pair of cruises set for the spring of 2024. The Summer of ’99 and the Summer of ’99 and Beyond cruises will set sail back to back in April from Miami and Orlando, respectively. Both cruises sold out within a couple of days of going on sale.
