Dispute Between Families At Roller Rink Draws Big Police Response: PD
The incident took place Sunday afternoon at the Tinley Park Roller Rink, police said.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A dispute between two families at the Tinley Park Roller Rink drew a large police response Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place around 1:30 p.m., and involved a large group of individuals from both families, Tinley Park Police Chief Thomas Tilton said. Citing the size of the group, he declined to estimate a number of individuals involved.
The incident began as an argument between minors from different families, and escalated to the adults being involved, Tilton said.

No weapons were involved in the incident, Village Manager Pat Carr said.
The dispute was resolved within minutes and by the time police arrived, Tilton said. The parties involved declined to sign complaints; no charges were filed.

All were asked to leave, and did so without incident, Tilton said.
