Durbin's Express Opens On Oak Park Ave After Former Location Closed
Owners said the new location at 18260 Oak Park Avenue has the same menu as the local favorite with a smaller dining room and bar selection.

TINLEY PARK, IL — After the closing of Durbin's Tinley Park location in March, the family-owned restaurant came together to open a new, smaller version of the beloved pizza place.
According to employees, Durbin's Express opened March 29 and has the same menu as the local favorite without the extensive bar and dining room.
The 17265 Oak Park Avenue location closed to a rent disagreement with the current landlord, owners wrote on social media. However, Durbin's Express was able to stay on Oak Park Avenue at 18260 Oak Park Avenue. The new location offers a small area for dine-in but primarily serves drive-thru, pick-up and deliveries.

A spokesman for the company told Patch the move meant the restaurant had to downsize considerably, but all cooks and delivery drivers from the original location were able to continue working at Durbin's Express.
"We are extremely humbled by the love, loyalty, and dedication we have received from everyone over the many years," the McAuliffe said in a social media statement. "Although it is a difficult time for our Durbins family, it is because of all of you that we can smile and look back on all the wonderful times!"
