Durbin's Tinley Park Location To Close Due To Rent Disagreement

Owners told Patch the Oak Park Avenue restaurant could not reach an agreement with the property's landlord and will be closing Sunday.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A beloved Tinley Park restaurant is closing its doors after a rent disagreement caused Durbin's to leave their Oak Park Avenue location, store owners announced Tuesday.

The restaurant, located 17265 Oak Park Avenue, announced in a social media post they won't be able to continue renting the location.

"It's a heart breaking week for all of us especially my coworkers and I," said Durbin's worker Marley Corcoran.

Corcoran said the pizza and barbecue joint will be hosting a going away party on Sunday, March 27.

Other locations in Burbank, Midlothian and Evergreen Park will remain open.
