Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? This includes any relatives who work in the government you're running for.

No.

Occupation. Please include years of experience.

Electrician....Over 25 years

Previous or current elected or appointed office.

I was a Tinley Park Park district commissioner for one 4-year term and currently running for my second 4-year term as a Tinley Park village trustee.

The most pressing issues facing Tinley Park are _______, and this is what I intend to do about them.

Keeping our taxes to the residents frozen for a third year. We are continuing to accept new businesses in our village to help offset this cost with our residents.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The opposing slate is currently setting a false stage with inaccurate promises with no baseline solutions. Our current team boasts financial responsibility and forward progress and we have proven this through honest government, Frozen taxes, and hundreds of millions of dollars in infrastructure and economic growth.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?

N/A

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

I've been a resident of this town for nearly 40 years. My Father is a retired police officer from this town of 23 years. I now coach on the same sports Fields with my kids that I grew up with myself and my father. I make the above statement simply because myself and my entire family have true roots in this town and will always do what is truly right and deserving for the people of this community.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have served as a community leader for several years prior to this re-election term. I have and will continue to treat everyone with the same respect and integrity that they deserve.

Why should voters trust you?

I have been true and honest to all of my decisions as an individual and board member. I will continue to have true transparency in every move I make as a village official.

If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?

I would like to see another year of frozen taxes for our town. We currently have incredible economic growth throughout our entire town. We will continue to work to keep this moving in the right direction with teaming up and keeping good partnerships with all local businesses.

What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the handling of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?

Financial responsibility is a strong foundation our team has created. Our choices may not always seem to be popular with some residents but they are put into place to make sure our village stays financially stable for years to come.

What are your thoughts on the crime rate in your community, and what more can be done to combat crime — especially violent crime — in town?

Our crime rate is low and has decreased over the last several years. We have and will continue to hire as needed and fully support our first responders to the fullest extent. Safety for our entire village is something that does not take a back seat.

What is your view of the Village's approach to commercial and residential development?

Our approach is steady and continuous with development throughout the entire village. Both residential and commercial growth is essential to a well working environment.

When it comes to development, what are some key areas for improvement or additions you feel are most wanted by residents? What will need to be done to make this happen?

I think development that includes entertainment to residents is great. When people are looking for a good restaurant, workout facilities, shopping, parks, etc., they are happy that this can be provided within their own village. To continue to make this happen and grow, we maintain good partnerships and relationships with both business owners and residents. We need to make sure that our businesses mesh and fit well with our town and residents.

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?

At this moment, there is nothing that would halt me from serving my full term.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Being in this village for almost 40 years I have seen this town develop in an incredible fashion. I am excited and look forward to serving another term. I would really like the residents and voters to understand that I am always willing to listen. There will be times that our visions or thoughts will not be inline with each other, but I want to say that my family has deep and long roots in this community and I will always do what is right for this town as it has been my home since 1986.
