Frankfort Woman Fell Down Manhole: Lawsuit

TINLEY PARK, IL — A Frankfort woman fell down an open manhole after a shopping trip to a Tinley Park Best Buy, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.

Linda Radcliff, who claims to have suffered “serious injury” in the February 2015 tumble, is suing the Village of Tinley Park, Brookside Marketplace, the Diaz Group and Mike’s Landscaping Services.

On the day in question, Radcliff shopped at Best Buy and, on her way out of the store, “fell into an uncovered manhole,” the lawsuit said.
