Missing Person Search And Rescue Team Training In Tinley Park Tuesday
A search and rescue team will be at Tinley Fire Station 47 and in the residential area nearby for training exercises Tuesday.

TINLEY PARK, IL.— Presence of a search and rescue team in Tinley Park on Tuesday is only a drill, Village officials said.
The Tinley Park Fire Department will be participating in mutual aid training on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Station 47, 7825 167th St. The Search & Rescue Strike Team will be using the fire station and will be in the surrounding residential area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Signs will be posted.
The search and rescue team is made up of fire departments across Northern Illinois that specialize in locating missing people. The team utilizes drones, K-9s and an ATV in the field when searching for a missing person. The team trains twice a month to ensure members are regularly practicing their skills.
