More Time To Park Free At Tinley Park Oak Park Avenue Metra Station
The Village has updated parking guidelines at its lots near the Oak Park Avenue Metra Station in downtown Tinley Park.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park officials have expanded the hours allotted for free parking at the Oak Park Avenue Metra station.
"The Village has adjusted the parking times at the Oak Park Avenue train station, 6700 South St., to better maximize the space at the lot and provide commuters with even more options for free parking in the heart of Downtown Tinley," the Village said.
The lots are now open to free parking after 10 a.m. on weekdays, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Permit parking is available from 5 to 10 a.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Overnight parking on Fridays is not permitted, the Village said.
