Music In The Plaza 2018: Who's Playing When This Summer
Listen to the bands performing during this year's free concert series in Tinley Park and find out what you need to know before you go.
TINLEY PARK, IL — One of Tinley Park's underrated summer attractions is the prevalence of live music throughout the village. While the big name acts performing at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre might draw a lot of attention, Tinley also provides a showcase for area bands thanks to its free Music in the Plaza concert series.
The 2018 season begins June 9, and it runs most Saturdays through mid-September at Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 S. Oak Park Ave. Shows run from 7 to 10 p.m. 6:30 p.m., and North Avenue between Oak Park and 67th avenues is shut down at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in the vacant lot behind E&B Liquors, 16948 S. Oak Park Ave.,
Along with the free musical performances, food and drinks from a variety of Tinley Park establishments also will be on sale. But be warned, animal lovers: Music in the Plaza is not a pet-friendly concert series, so leave your dogs, cats and boa constrictors at home.
