New Burlington Opens Friday, Donating $5k To Tinley Park School
The national retailer will be donating the funds to nearby Fulton Elementary at its ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Just in time for fall, the new Burlington location in the remodeled Tinley Park Plaza will open this Friday, according to a news release from the national retailer.
Burlington was formerly located around the corner at 7061 W. 159th St. The national retailer, now located at 16001 S. Harlem Ave., is known for its "amazing deals," and affordable products. The new store's hours are Monday-Sunday, 8a.m to 11 p.m.
The grand opening event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, and the first 100 customers — aged 18 and up — will receive a $5 bonus card to be used towards their purchase. On Saturday, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella at the location, while supplies last, no purchase necessary.

“Our goal is to continue to offer communities great values on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores. “We look forward to providing local customers with a refreshed shopping experience through which they can discover fantastic prices on a wide range of products. We know they will love the deals.”
As a way to celebrate the new location’s grand opening, Burlington will be donating $5,000 to nearby Community Consolidated School District 146 Fulton Elementary School, through their long-standing partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, a national, tech-based nonprofit that connects donors and sponsors with PreK-12 teachers and schools to help equip more classrooms and students with school supplies.

According to the release, the funds will be used to support teachers and their classrooms so that they can purchase materials needed for their students to better learn and succeed. The donation to local school leaders and representatives will take place at the ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.
Burlington’s new location will feature an updated, clean design, making it easy for customers to navigate and find merchandise at low prices throughout the store, according to the release. Shoppers will see a selection of items, including:
- Ladies’ apparel and accessories at incredible prices
- Big savings on menswear
- Comfortable and casual finds for kids
- Footwear for everyone
