New Warming Shelter In Tinley Park Opens
The facility is now open for public use at the Oak Park Avenue train station, Tinley Park officials confirmed.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Construction of the new warming shelter on the north side of the tracks at the Oak Park Avenue train station is finally complete, Tinley Park officials announced Monday.
Officials said the facility is now open for public use.
The village hired F.H. Paschen to construct the shelter, which also includes storage space for the Oak Park Avenue station and its vendor, Cavallini's.

The train station is located in the heart of Tinley Park’s historic district at 6700 South St.
It's open from 5:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The station is closed on Sundays.
