Nighttime Yuletide Bazaar Artisan Market Coming To Tinley Brewery

TINLEY PARK, IL — Holiday shoppers looking for one-of-a-kind gifts and experiences are invited to a special, nighttime artisan market coming to a Tinley Park brewery.

Set for Saturday, Dec. 7, the Yuletide Bazaar at Soundgrowler Brewing is a nighttime market that from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and features an entirely indoor setup, stretching from the brewery’s barrel room into its back brewing area. Over two dozen talented local artists, makers, and even a tarot reader will showcase their creations.

Building on the success of past events such as Summerween, Vinyl Market, and Plant Market, Soundgrowler Brewing has partnered again with the Streetz Artz Alliance for this festive event. The Streetz Artz Alliance is a collective of over 350 Chicago-area artists dedicated to promoting small businesses and breweries.

“Not counting anniversary events, this is our first nighttime market ever, and I’m stoked,” said John Streetz, founder of the Streetz Artz Alliance. “We’ve curated the perfect lineup for the evening—live spiders, cheeky towels, monster spoon rests, original art, vintage apparel, crocheted creatures, and so much more!”

The market offers a mix of unique gift ideas and treats. Brenda Moore, owner of Masterclass Savory Sweet Foods, will feature her giant cookies.

"Cooking is my passion, and my company allows me to express it," said Moore. "I experiment and tweak my recipes until I get them just right."

Additional highlights include sustainable, charitable button-up shirts from Project Good Apparel, “Tarot to Go” readings by Ten Cups Tarot, needle-felted ornaments from Catty Craft Studio, small-batch pickles from FeFe’s Pickles and Peppers, and Krampus ornaments from Moonlight Been.

"The kitchen will be open until 10, an hour before the taproom closes," said Becca Scamardo, social media/marketing manager at Soundgrowler Brewing. "We will have our full menu available, excluding quesadillas. We will also have specials including pozole, shrimp tacos, churros, and Mexican hot chocolate—all available only while they last!"

The brewery’s Artist of the Month, Jonathan Grimm Art, will have works on display and available for purchase. Soundgrowler highlights a new artist monthly, supporting local talent and creativity.
