Original Rainbow Cone Ice Cream Truck To Visit Tinley Park

TINLEY PARK, IL — Here's the scoop: The Original Rainbow Cone ice cream trucks are continuing to travel throughout Chicagoland and will be visiting Tinley Park this week, according to a news release from Rainbow Cone.

The ice cream trucks will be visiting Montgomery, Tinley Park, Harwood Heights and Rosemont starting Wednesday, as the trucks have "quickly become a staple of the summer season." Each of the five ice cream trucks are named after one of the flavors that make up the famous Rainbow Cone: chocolate, strawberry, palmer house, pistachio and orange sherbet.

According to the release, "pistachio" will be driving around the Tinley Park Plaza, located at 16001 S. Harlem Ave. on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday - Thursday, 3-8 p.m.
  • Friday - 2-8 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday, 1-9 p.m.

The trucks will be serving Rainbow Cone ice cream and treats. The Original Rainbow Cone trucks are also available for private catering and events including graduation parties, weddings, corporate meetings and more, the release states.
