Pair Leads Police On Chase With 2 Cars, 1 Wanted In Local Robbery
Police said they tried to pull over 2 men who were in a car that was wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Olympia Fields.

OLYMPIA FIELDS, IL — Two Chicago men were arrested Saturday after police said the pair fled from cops in a car that was wanted in connection to a recent armed robbery.
The car, which was listed as stolen, was used in an armed robbery in Olympia Fields, police said. Saturday at around 10:51 p.m., state troopers identified the car and attempted to pull it over near the intersection of State Street and 87th Street.
The driver and passenger fled in the car before stopping and running out of the car into another vehicle which was listed as stolen. The second car then crashed into another on Interstate 94 near Sibley Street and both men were taken into custody.

Police said 21-year-old Travis Williams and 23-year-old Shawnyall Clair were charged with three counts of fleeing and eluding and possessing a stolen motor vehicle. Williams was additionally charged with resisting arrest and unlawful use of a weapon.
Olympia Fields police did not immediately respond to questions on if Williams or Clair were involved in the earlier armed robbery.

Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries following the crash on Interstate 94, police said.
