Pets, Tacos, Beer And Vendors: Pet Market Returns To Tinley Park Brewery

The Pet Market artisan event is back in Tinley Park Saturday, May 17. Forty vendors are lined up.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Furry friends and their humans are invited to Soundgrowler Brewing this Saturday, May 17, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., for a pet-centric artisan market.

Curated by the Streetz Artz Alliance and featuring over 40 artists, this free, family-friendly Pet Market spans the brewery’s indoor space and outdoor beer garden, offering an afternoon of shopping, sipping, and tail-wagging fun.

The weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies, low chance of rain, and medium to high winds—perfect conditions to enjoy the outdoor setup. Pets are welcome to lounge in the shaded beer garden filled with picnic tables, while their owners explore handmade goods from both returning favorites and first-time vendors.

Artists will be set up both inside the brewery and outside in the parking lot under individual tents, offering a wide range of pet-themed and pet-friendly items. Expect everything from natural pet treats, bandanas, and CBD tinctures to unique soaps, personalized collars, pet beds, coasters, original artwork, self-care products, and even exotic jerky and beetles.

To accommodate attendees, Soundgrowler Brewing will have an outdoor beer tent for easy access to drinks. Due to health codes, only service animals are allowed inside the brewery; patrons are encouraged to bring friends to help watch their pets during food runs or bathroom breaks.

“Our vision for this market is pet-centric and community-focused,” said John Streetz, head of the Streetz Artz Alliance and curator of the event. “We’ve curated a space where pets and their people can enjoy the day, alongside amazing original art, handmade treats, and unique goods.”

This year’s market welcomes more than ten new vendors and features a mix of South Suburban artists, small businesses, and local pet service providers.
