Ready To Grow? Tinley Art And Garden Market To Showcase 30 Vendors

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park residents are invited to check out a new addition to the town's special events lineup, with the debut of the Art and Garden Market.

Set for Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market will feature vendors spanning a large selection, along with garden- and arts-themed activities in Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 S. Oak Park Ave.

The event will feature florists, garden centers, art for sale and handmade goods.

Naturalists from the Conservation@home organization will host a seed planting session. Tinley Park High School students will be on site painting a piano, and chalk will be available for some sidewalk chalking. A balloon artist will also be onhand for kids' enjoyment.

The event will feature live music from John Sather and Vision is the Rhythm. Food and beverages from Pekoe & Bean, The Scoop, Avocado Theory, and The Open Bottle, will be available for purchase.
