A 60-year-old Hickory Hills man faces a reckless discharge of a firearm charge after police said shots were fired near La Grange Road.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Gun shots were fired from one vehicle to another on Interstate 80 near Tinley Park on July, according to Illinois State Police. Police later charged a 60-year-old man with reckless discharge of a firearm in connection with the report.
A man in another car on the interstate around 10:30 p.m. that night told police that he was headed eastbound just west of La Grange Road when his car was shot at. He was not hit with any gunfire or injured, state police said in a news release.
A state police investigation that involved help from their division of criminal investigation agents led to developing Robert Andracki, of Hickory Hills, as the suspected shooter. Charges against Andracki were announced Tuesday, when he was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility to await a bond hearing.
