Snowstorm Ahead: How Tinley Park Is Preparing For The Weather
With as much as 8 inches of snow in sight overnight, Tinley Park officials say they have been prepping to keep roads and residents safe.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Officials for the Village of Tinley Park say they began taking precautions early Friday to keep roads clear and residents safe—hours ahead of the predicted storm.
The public works department "anti-iced" major roads and bridges, and salt trucks are ready to go, a village spokesman said. All staff are on call to pitch in, if necessary.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, the fire department will increase staffing for the next 36 hours.
