Soft Lockdown At Central Middle School Over Staffer's Health
The lockdown lasted about 30 minutes, and students and faculty were not in danger, according to the principal.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The health of a Central Middle School staffer put the campus in a brief soft lockdown Monday, according to a note sent to parents by Principal Randy Fortin. Students and faculty were not in any danger during the emergency, the message stated.
The soft lockdown was called by administrators at around 1:53 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at the school, 18146 Oak Park Ave., after a staff member needed medical attention. Students were required to stay in classrooms and their movement was limited throughout the building while the staffer's medical issues were addressed, according to Fortin.
The lockdown was lifted after about 30 minutes. Details concerning the staffer's health were not given in the note.
