Stolen Goods In Van That Crashed Into Garage After Chase: Cops
Four people were arrested and charged in the incident Thursday after Tinley Park police pursued the suspects by car and on foot.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Four people — two men and two teenagers — are accused of crashing a stolen minivan filled with stolen items from burglaries in the area following a chase by Tinley Park police, according to the department. Victor Dillion Jr., 20, of Chicago, and Mansurmusa Abdullah, 20, of Calumet City, were charged with burglary and criminal trespass to a vehicle. Two 14-year-olds also were petitioned into court for burglary and criminal trespass to a vehicle.
At around 5:24 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, officers responded to a call from Holiday Inn security at the Tinley Park Convention Center concerning four people walking around the parking lot and looking into the vehicles, police said. The suspects were leaving the lot in a white minivan with the lights turned off when police pulled up, and officers began following the vehicle eastbound on 183rd Street.
The minivan eventually drove to the 6400 block of 182nd Street, where police tried to pull over the vehicle. That's when the minivan turned onto the cul-de-sac at 66th Avenue and slammed into a detached garage, police said.
