Student Of The Week: Carrington Anderson
Anderson is a student at Cardinal Joseph Bernardin school and is involved in cheerleading, Drama Club, Girl Scouts and more.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Students of all ages undergo stress, pressure and growth during their academic careers. Patch wants to highlight students in your community that have shown strength and courage during stressful learning situations amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This week, we are highlighting Carrington Anderson an 8th grader at Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Catholic School in Orland Hills.
Carrington is an Honor Roll student and is involved in many programs such as cheerleading, Drama Club, Girl Scouts, Choir and the Bernarzine Newspaper.

Carrington is 13-years-old and plans to go to Marist for high school. Some fun facts about her is that she loves to travel, take pictures and used to play softball.
"Adapting to the school year during Covid-19 was difficult to begin with," Carrington said. "I was nervous because of the precautions but our Principal Ms. Bourrell and the entire CJB staff have made me feel confident and safe about being at CJB."

CJB sent in the nomination of Carrington and said they believe she is a great fit.
"Carrington takes responsibility and does the right thing. She is also kind to all of her classmates, she is happy for other people, and is generous," CJB said.
