Tinley Considers Tax Break for Rizza Dealership
A considerable tax break for the long-time Tinley auto dealer may result in the creation of 10 jobs and over $800,000 for the village over the next 10 years.

Village trustees are considering a 33 percent tax break for Rizza Cadillac and Rizza Buick GMC to help build a new business façade, Sun-Times Media reports.
The building improvements are expected to increase customer traffic—enough to hire 10 additional employees and add nearly half a million dollars to the company payroll. Over the next 10 years, the expected increase in sales is estimated to build over $800,000 in sales tax revenue for the village. If the tax break doesn’t pass, they will be unlikely to make the renovations, according to Trustee Dave Seaman.
The village formerly gave similar incentives to Apple Chevrolet and Orland Toyota Scion in 2011.
