Tinley GameStop Robbed At Gunpoint
Tinley police are looking for a man who robbed GameStop Sunday after striking an employee with a rifle and fleeing in a stolen car.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police were on the lookout Sunday for a man who robbed a GameStop at gun point after striking an employee with his rifle and fleeing in a stolen car.
The hold-up happened just before 1 p.m. Sunday at the video gaming store at 16205 S. HarlemAvenue, Tinley Park police said. The man entered the store, struck an employee and ran out with cash from the register.
He was seen fleeing from the scene northbound on Harlem in a white Honda CRV with the Illinois license plates number 305 766. That car was reported stolen July 3 from Park Forest.

The assailant is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and shaved head. He is estimated to be about 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black "Marilyn Monroe" t-shirt and black pants.
The T.P.P.D Investigations Unit is investigating the crime and reviewing all evidentiary items that were recovered, authorities said.
