TINLEY PARK, IL — The 2018 season for Tinley Park's annual Farmers Market begins this weekend. As with past farmers markets, a variety of vendors will be offering a selection of produce, flowers and other items.
The first day of this year's market will run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 Oak Park Ave. During the 2018 season, the market will be open 19 times before closing Oct. 13.
Shoppers and sellers can expect ideal weather for the market's opening, too. Saturday's forecast for the village is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 76, according to the National Weather Service. Any rain or thunderstorms likely to roll through Tinley Park won't hit until after 1 a.m. Sunday, the weather agency said.
