Tinley Park Library Could Close For Training, Repaving This Week
The library will definitely be closed Friday, but weather will determine if it's open this weekend.
TINLEY PARK, IL — The Tinley Park Public Library could be closed this week for as many as three days for two separate reasons. But some of that scheduling will be dependent on the weather during this upcoming weekend.
The one day the library definitely will be closed is Friday, April 20. Employees will be taking part in a staff training at that time this week, according to the library.
The library also could be closed Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22, so that the facility's parking lot can be repaved, the library said on its website. If the repaving can't be done over the weekend because of bad weather, the work will be done next week, and the library will remain open during that time.
