Tinley Park, Illinois — The Tinley Park-Park District is proud to announce the kickoff of its Summer Camp 50th Reunion, a special celebration honoring five decades of unforgettable memories, mentorship, and community impact garnered through its annual Summer Camp program. As the District prepares for this milestone in 2026, former camp staff from every era of Summer Camp are invited to reconnect and take a walk down memory lane. The Reunion will bring together generations of counselors, leaders, and support staff who helped shape the Summer Camp program into the cherished tradition it is today. Guests will have the opportunity to reminisce with old friends, share favorite camp stories, and celebrate the lasting influence Summer Camp has had on the thousands of campers and staff throughout the years.

“As we approach 50 years of Summer Camp, we want to honor the people who made this program truly special,” said Bailey Hecker, the District’s Summer Camp Supervisor. “This reunion is not only a chance to reconnect but also a celebration of the positive impact our staff have had on the Tinley Park community.”

Former staff members are encouraged to fill out a short interest form to stay informed about reunion details and commemorative activities planned for 2026. The form will help the Park District gather contact information, compile memories, and ensure past staff receive timely updates about the celebration.
