Tinley Park To Remember Residents Lost To COVID-19 With Webpage

Village officials are launching the memorial webpage which aims to gather names, photos and information on residents who died from COVID-19.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park is memorializing residents lost to COVID-19 through a public webpage on the village's website.

According to Tinley Park officials, residents are encouraged to submit information on their loved ones who died due to COVID-19. Once submissions are in, the page will serve as a memorial with pictures and obituaries.

Village officials announced the initiative on the two year anniversary of COVID-19 being designated as a worldwide pandemic. Throughout that time, 108 Tinley Park residents have died due to complications from COVID-19, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
